Saturday, the first shabbat of tour. We started off with
Morning prayers and a Shabbat service, it brought us all together as we danced
and sang welcoming the Shabbat day. We had a kiddush which was enjoyable for
everyone and also educational! Later on in the day we had a walk to a park
where we all could bond some more and have fun spending time together in a calm
yet fun environment. In the evening we had a tish and a havdalah service to
bring out Shabbat, we sang songs, told stories and danced. This brought us all closer together as shabbat was a very spiritual and insightful time that educated us in a way that kept us engaged and enjoying the moment.
After Shabbat was out we then got ready for the Kinneret cruise, it was essentially a party on a boat where we could all dance around and sing with a breathtaking setting surround us with the night sky, the calming river and beautiful shining lights in the distance. The entirety of Saturday was spent having fun and celebrating the importance of Shabbat and community.
